If you have searched elsewhere, and cannot find certain information, here is the place to look. I have added some information that can help others roleplay, and to give them a firmer understanding of the current world around them. If you have any questions, or would like something to be added, feel free to PM me.

Contents

  • Weapons
  • Currency
  • Other Occupations
  • Religion (Under Construction)

Weapons;
Here is a list of some of the weapons your character could use. If you need more information on the weapon, feel free to ask me, or google it.

  • Longsword
  • Shortsword
  • Broadsword
  • Dirk
  • Dagger
  • Rapier
  • Scimitar
  • Saber
  • Rondel
  • Battle Axe
  • Flail
  • War Hammer
  • Pike
  • Morning Star
  • Throwing Knives
  • Club
  • Crossbow
  • Longbow
  • Short Bow
  • Composite Bow
  • Sling
  • Staff
  • Javelin
  • Spear
  • Halberd

Currency;
The main currency of the city is Gold Splices. Shaped as a circle, with a quarter of it missing, they come in gold, silver, and bronze, gold, of course, worth most, and bronze, the least. 1 Gold Splice can buy a nice meal for one.

5 Bronze Splices = 1 Silver Splice
25 Bronze Splices = 1 Gold Splice
5 Silver Splices = 1 Gold Splice.

About 50 Gold Splices can buy an average farm-bred, untrained horse. A small cottage would be around 200 Gold Splices, to give you an idea of its worth.

Occupations;
As I did with the weapons, I'm just going to post a list of possible occupations that your character could have. If you think one should be added, feel free to tell me.

  • Bartender
  • Barmaid
  • Blacksmith
  • Locksmith
  • Guard
  • Traveler
  • Merchant
  • Shopkeeper
  • Herbologist
  • Stableowner
  • Stablehand
  • Noble
  • Healer
  • Surgeon
  • Doctor

Religion;

The citizens of Yierdes are far from a superstitious people. They believe in the gods, and their creation of their land, and world, however, not openly. Occasional feasts are set aside for the gods, though only twice yearly, if that. The gods are as follows

  • Fate. Goddess.
  • Death. God.
  • Reincarnation. God.

Legends of the gods and goddesses are mangled, and much forgotten, as the city itself goes on. A true religion is not really followed, and many go without a thought to it in their lives.
